For this year
have been kind
enough to offer some of their amazing software as a major prize
in the Photography section. Their software can be used as a
stand-alone or plug-in. So for those without Photoshop, Lightroom,
etc. you will still be able to use the full effect of the software. Each
of the products retail around $400, so that's a total prize value of around
$800 from Auto FX Software.
A wonderful prize to win.
The Mystical Suite is an integrated bundle of products that work together to create some amazing visual effects.
The Mystical Suite includes Mystical Focus, Mystical Lighting and Ambiance 2.0 and Mystical Tint Tone and Color 2.0.

NEWS
ABC… Act - Belong - Commit …a message from Healthways … was extremely well illustrated on Show day resulting in a great show – 717 paying adults through the gate plus members plus hundreds of children made up a very happy, busy crowd. The efforts of many volunteers created a great fun day. The involvement of volunteers from both schools, the Chaplaincy Committee, the Uniting Church, Play Group, the Occasional Day Care group, Rotary, Apex was fantastic, providing great entertainment for children.
Highlights for the day were –Slap the Rat, the Chocolate Toss, The Snakeman, the giant games, the Bubble wands, the fantastic shady sand pit, the guessing games, the Jones Road Fashion Parade, THE AMAZING RACE, the Tug of War and the Sheaf Tossing. Kojonup Apex very efficiently ran the shearing competition. Many organizations took the opportunity to run raffles and stalls to raise funds for their own projects. It would not be an exaggeration to suggest in excess of $10,000 was raised overall.
The Bungee Trampoline, Zorba Balls and SS Bounty sponsored by DAFWA, the Western Australian Government and the Kojonup P&A Society were very busy being tested by many children – 350 rides being taken during the afternoon.
The Snakeman sponsored by Kojonup IGA attracted an enthralled crowd throughout the day.
Healthways supported the Show with a $2000 grant to employ “Underfire” a very professional and popular band for the evening.
The Exhibition Halls held displays of some very high standard work – photography in particular was very well supported, many beautiful photos on show. 2012 saw the return of poultry to the Kojonup Show, thanks to the hard work and persistent efforts of Donna Smith, her friend Carolyn Barton and their families. Repairs and paintwork created a very attractive “Cackleberry Shed”. The display of poultry was enjoyed by a continuous flow of people, some purchases being made through the “Chook auction”.
Behind the scenes many volunteers worked hard to make the Show run smoothly. In particular the Kojonup P&A Society Committee would like to thank the Kojonup Lions Club who helped to prepare and clean the show grounds and the Uniting church volunteers who arrived early Sunday morning to clean up – a record 9.20am finishing time was achieved, an effort very much appreciated. Thanks must also be extended to the Kojonup Shire Council who assisted with the preparation of the show grounds.
Many ideas have already been suggested for next year’s show – planning for this begins at the AGM February 2013 when firstly a quorum is needed, office bearers elected and then the work begins – anyone with an interest in the continuing of the show is encouraged to attend and “step up” … as the Healthways message goes …ACT, BELONG, COMMIT ..and amazing things can happen….many thanks to all those who assisted this year in any way – big or small.
